Playing With Fire has been Kamloops' premiere craft event since 1992. It was started to give local art lovers an alternative to traveling to Vancouver for Circle Craft, or Calgary for Art Market. We strive for the same level of excellence in our artisans and presentation.
Playing With Fires has traditionally been the first show of the Fall craft season in Kamloops, and it has a loyal following. Because this is a one day event, its well attended. Admission for the customer is free. |

| SHOW INFORMATION |
Application forms are sent at the end of February. In May we select vendors, and applicants are contacted and told whether or not they will be part of the sale.
This year there are thirty vendor spots available in the ballroom of Kamloops Convention Centre, which is connected to the Kamloops Towne Lodge. Booth sizes are approximately 8' x 12', with a few odd sizes as well. The room has a big feel to it, and we've doubled the size of the room for the 2010 sale...90' x 90'.
We advertise through a campaign in the local media, including newspaper and radio ads. Participating vendors also promote the show throughout the summer and fall with professional quality flyers. Signs are posted throughout the city two weeks before the event. And, we launched our website in February 2009 to establish a presence on the internet.

| APPLICATION |
| Our continuing goal is to present the finest show in the Kamloops area. Artisans have been invited to participate because of the quality of their work, and their presentation. Following are a few notes about our application process. |
| 1 - Applications and fees need to be in by May 15. |
| 2 - We maintain an equitable distribution of vendors across the craft spectrum, and may not be able to fit you in if your category is full. We keep a waitlist for those aritsans whose category is full. |
| 3 - We give priority to vendors who present themselves professionally, both to their customers and their colleagues. Attractive display and a friendly chat with your neighbour are valued at our show. |
| 4 - Returning vendors are given first priority until our registration deadline. After that new vendors are considered. Please don't let this discourage you if you are a new vendor. There always seem to be openings at each sale. |
CANCELLATION
$20 fee for cancelling before September 1, 2010. No refund after September 1, 2010.
